Terms and Conditions
Who you are buying from
Tickets on this site are sold directly by Yechiel Jacobs. There is no marketplace in between, no reseller, and no third party taking a cut beyond the card processor. The price you see is the price that is charged, in full, before you are asked to pay it.
No refunds
All sales are final. Tickets are not refundable and not exchangeable, and that includes changing your mind, being unable to attend, illness, travel, weather, and forgetting the date.
There are exactly two exceptions, and both are handled automatically rather than on request. They are set out below.
If the show is cancelled
If a show is cancelled and not rescheduled, every ticket for it is refunded in full, including the processing fee, to the card it was paid with. Nothing needs to be claimed and nothing needs to be filled in. Refunds usually reach a statement within five to ten days.
If the show is postponed
If a show moves to a new date, your existing ticket is valid for the new date and the code in your confirmation email will scan as it always would. Nothing needs re-booking.
If the new date does not work for you, you have fourteen days from the moment the change is announced to take a full refund instead, using the link in the email announcing the move. After fourteen days the ticket stands and the usual no-refund term applies.
Your ticket
Each ticket admits one person once. The QR code is the ticket; whoever presents it first is admitted, so treat it as you would a physical one and do not post it publicly.
Tickets are not for resale. A ticket offered for sale by anyone other than this site may be void, and there is no way for us to make good on one bought elsewhere.
Getting in
Doors and start times are shown on your ticket and are local to the venue. Latecomers are admitted at the venue's discretion and may be seated at a break rather than on arrival.
The venue's own conditions of entry apply inside the building, including any age restriction, and the venue may refuse entry on those grounds. Where a show carries an age limit it is stated on the show's page before purchase.
Things that can change
Running times, support acts, seating and the specifics of a night can change. Those are not grounds for a refund on their own. A change of date or venue is announced by email to everyone holding a ticket.
Your details
The email address and name you give are used to issue your tickets, to tell you about the show you have bought, and for nothing else unless you ask for it. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach this site's servers.
Messages about a show you hold a ticket for are part of the purchase and are sent regardless of marketing preferences. Anything promotional carries a working unsubscribe link.
Getting hold of a person
Replying to any email from this site reaches a human being, not a queue. Quote the order number printed on your receipt and confirmation and it can be found in seconds.
Agreeing to this
Buying a ticket, entering the prize draw or using this site means you accept these terms. If you do not, do not buy a ticket. These terms may change, and the version that applies to an order is the one published when the order was placed; the date at the top says when this was last touched.
You need to be at least 18 to buy, and the card has to be yours or used with the cardholder's permission.
Reselling
Tickets are sold for the person using them, at face value, and are not for resale. A ticket offered for sale above the price paid, or listed on a resale marketplace, can be cancelled without a refund and the person holding it turned away at the door.
This is not a formality. The entire point of selling direct is that a seat costs what it says it costs, and a resale market undoes that at the buyer's expense.
Recording, and being recorded
The performance is the performer's work. Filming or recording it for anything beyond a few seconds for your own feed is not allowed, and staff can ask you to stop or to leave.
Shows are sometimes filmed or photographed. Being in the room means you may appear in that footage and that it may be used to promote the act, without payment. If that is a problem, say so at the door and the crew will keep you out of shot where they can.
What we are responsible for, and what we are not
We are responsible for putting on the show you bought a ticket to, and for refunding you in the cases set out above. Beyond that, liability is limited to what you paid for the ticket.
We are not responsible for things outside our control: travel, weather, illness, strikes, a venue losing power, an act of government, or anything else that stops a show going ahead despite reasonable effort. Where one of those cancels a show, the cancellation terms above apply and that is the remedy.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of Florida, and any dispute goes to the courts there.
